Your Data Privacy Rights
Controllers and Processors
Data privacy laws often make a distinction between organizations that process information for their own purposes (generally referred to as “controllers”) and organizations that process information on behalf of other organizations (generally referred to as “processors”). Chorus Connection is the controller for any information collected by us from and about Visitors and Subscribers. For information collected by us from and about Users and Ticket Purchasers, our role depends on the context. For example, there are some instances where we are the controller (e.g. analytic information about which pages on the Site you visit and which features you use). In other contexts, we are the processor and a different entity is the controller. In the case of Users, there are times when your chorus is the controller (e.g. the personal data on your User profile). In the case of Ticket Purchasers, there are times when the event organizer is the controller (e.g. the name and contact information you provide when you purchase your ticket).
Exercising Your Rights
If you are seeking to exercise your data rights under an applicable privacy law and we are the controller for the information in question, please follow the instructions in the relevant section below. We will process your request in accordance with the appropriate laws and notify you of the actions we take. We may request additional information from you to help us confirm your identity or process your request. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
If we are not the controller for the information in question, please direct your request to the appropriate controller, and we will support them to the extent required by applicable law in responding to the request.
